How to Delay Aging of Laser Machine
Aging issue always occurs after long-term running for each equipment, and no exception for laser cutting machine. Among all components, fiber laser is the one most likely to be aged. So it must be paid attention to during daily use. Then how can we slow down the aging of laser cutting machine?
There are two reasons for laser power attenuation.
1.Laser built-in issue:
The external optical path of laser cutting machine requires regular inspection and maintenance. Actually, power attenuation is inevitable after laser works for a certain period of time. When laser power declines to a level that will impact production, maintenance must be done to laser and external optical path. After that, laser cutting machine can be restored to ex-factory status.
2.Working environment and conditions:
Working conditions such as quality of compressed air (oil filter, dryness and dust), environmental dust and smoke, and even some operations near laser cutting machine will influence cutting effect and quality.
Solution:
1).Use vacuum cleaner to remove dust and dirt inside laser cutting machine. All electrical cabinets should be tightly closed for dust prevention.
2).Check linearity and perpendicularity of linear guides every 6 months and repair in time if any abnormality is found. This procedure is very important and may affect cutting accuracy and quality.
3).Check the steel strip of laser cutting machine regularly and ensure its tightness so as to avoid accidental injury during operation.
4).Clean and lubricate linear guide frequently, remove dust, wipe and lubricate gear rack to guarantee normal running of laser cutting machine. Motors also need to be regularly cleaned and lubricated in order to keep motion accuracy and cutting quality.Regular inspection and maintenance can effectively delay aging of machine and extend service life, so it must be highly valued in daily use.
